If we were villains

If we were villains

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 out of 5 stars

Oliver Marks is one of the seven last-year students at the elite conservatory. Aspiring actors, they immerse themselves in Shakespeare’s plays— the world of love, hate, rivalry, desire and passion. When the unexpected results appear, forcing them to switch their usual archetypical roles around, the world of the stage start to dangerously blend with their daily life…

If we were villains is an astonishingly good read. It has incredible characters that will stay with you for a long while. It has an atmosphere of a dark academia novel, with the prestigious private school full of students obsessed with their discipline. It has a fascinating plot as we observe the close-knit group of young people unravel. This book has elements of a crime story and a psychological novel. Personally, I became obsessed with the characters and the dynamics between them. I believe the book is worth everyone’s attention just because of them.
